Francisco Álvarez, associate professor in the area of Journalism at the Department of Language Theory.

Francisco holds a degree in Journalism from the Universitat de València and a master's degree in Innovation in Journalism from the Universidad Miguel Hernández de Elche. His professional career has been developed in El Mundo Comunitat Valenciana, where he has worked as an editor in the Economy, Local and Politics sections, among others. In addition, he was part of the team responsible for the implementation of the regional delegation in elmundo.es. Since 2018 he is responsible for the Press and Communication Unit at the Agència Valenciana de la Innovació (Ivace+i Innovación), a public sector entity of the Generalitat Valenciana.
