Biography

Francisco Campanario Pallás has been a Permanent Staff Professor at the Universitat de València since 2023 and a researcher at the Instituto de Física Corpuscular (IFIC, CSIC–UV). He holds a PhD in Physics from the Universitat de València and the Universität Siegen, and his research focuses on theoretical high-energy physics and collider phenomenology, with special emphasis on perturbative QCD calculations and precision predictions for LHC processes, including studies of the Higgs boson, vector boson production, and searches for physics beyond the Standard Model.

His postdoctoral research activity from 2004 to 2016 was mainly carried out at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (Germany), following a postdoctoral stay at the University of Toronto (2004–2005). During this period, he conducted research visits at IFIC as a holder of an excellence postdoctoral fellowship (2007–2009) and later a Marie Curie fellowship (2011–2013). In 2016, he joined IFIC as a Ramón y Cajal program researcher (2016–2022), continuing thereafter as a post-Ramón y Cajal researcher in 2023, the year in which he obtained a position as Permanent Staff Professor at the Universitat de València.
