I am a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Physiotherapy at the University of Valencia and a researcher with experience in the diagnosis, prevention and management of geriatric and vulnerable syndromes through the design of specific exercise programmes for these populations. I have developed lines of research related to cancer patients, falls, frailty, sarcopenia and delirium, as well as on the detection of possible clinical biomarkers for each of these syndromes.

I completed a diploma and subsequently a degree in Physiotherapy, as well as a diploma in Podiatry at the University of Valencia. I was then able to continue my training by completing a Master's degree in Bioethics at the Catholic University of Valencia, which opened the doors to a PhD, and I was able to defend my doctoral thesis in the Clinical Medicine programme in December 2014.

To date, I have participated in 11 funded research projects, 3 of them as principal investigator and 8 as a collaborator (5 publicly funded and 6 privately funded), always seeking to respond to the needs of vulnerable populations.

From 2014 to 2018, I was a member of the “Geriatrics” research group at the Catholic University of Valencia, assuming the role of principal investigator in the final year. Since 2018, I have been a member of the research group registered at the University of Valencia “Frailty and Cognitive Impairment - FROG” and a collaborator of the research group registered at the University of Valencia “Physiotherapy in Motion - PT in Motion” since 2021. I have been a member of the Chair of Healthy, Active and Participatory Ageing at the University of Valencia for seven years.
