Graduate in Economic Sciences (Universitat de València, 1988), PhD in Economics (UNED, 1998), Graduate in History (Universitat de València, 2013) and Master in Ethics and Democracy (Universitat de València, 2020 - Extraordinary Award). Associate Professor in the Department of Applied Economics II of the University of Valencia since 1994. Researcher at the Institute of Social Economy, Cooperativism and Entrepreneurship IUDESCOOP of the University of Valencia.

Technician of the Bank of Spain since 1991.

Co-author of the book, together with Rafael Chaves (2004): The government of Credit Cooperatives in Spain. He has published articles in journals such as CIRIEC-Spain Public, Social and Cooperative Economy, Revesco Cooperative Studies Magazine, GEZKI Basque Social Economy or Journal of Co-operative Studies. He has participated in the cooperative credit and social banking sections in collective works: directed by S. Karafolas (2016) Credit cooperative institutions in European Countries, the White Paper on the Social Economy of the Valencian Community (2019) and in the Manual of Social Economy (2020).
