Professor García Alandete (Cullera, 1969) holds a degree in Psychology and Philosophy, a PhD in Psychology and a Master's Degree in Third Generation Psychological Therapies. His research interests focus on the psychology of meaning in life, the history of psychology and the interfaces between psychology, anthropology and philosophy. It has three six years of positively evaluated research (CNEAI-ANECA). He has been Principal Researcher of the "Psychology, person and meaning" group. He has participated in several R+D+I projects funded in public calls (Council, Ministry). His scientific output is remarkable, with 120 articles published in national and international journals, five books, almost twenty book chapters and more than 50 contributions to congresses and conferences. He has supervised six doctoral theses and been a member of more than twenty tribunals. He has tutored dozens of bachelor's and master's theses, and has participated in numerous tribunals. Collaborator in various teaching innovation projects in the Faculty of Psychology and Speech Therapy at the University of Valencia (UV). Reviewer of articles for research journals, both in the field of psychology and philosophy. In the field of academic management, he has held positions as PhD program coordinator and head of second-cycle degree studies (Psicopedagogy), he has been a member of research committees, faculty boards and the Human Ethics and Research Committee (Commission of Ethics in Experimental Research) of the UV.
