David García Baviera, graduated in Translation and Interlinguistic Interpreting (German and English) from the University of Valencia (2018) and later completed the Official Master's Degree in ELE by CIESE (Centro Internacional de Estudios Superiores de Español) at the University of Cantabria. He has completed the “Curso de iniciación para profesores de español ELE online” by Cervantes Escuela Internacional and is accredited as a DELE examiner for levels B1-B2.

He began his teaching career in 2019 at the Volkshochschule Köln (VHS Köln), Germany, as a Spanish teacher. He joined the Centre d'Idiomes de la UV at 2022. David now teaches Spanish and German he collaborated with the translation department.

On the other hand, he has participated in the collection of research material for the Val.Es.Co group. His line of research focuses on the field of EFE, more specifically, on the “Development of pragmatic competence in mental health's spanish”.
