Lola Garzón holds a degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Córdoba and a PhD in Business Organization from the Polytechnic University of Valencia. Her doctoral thesis is entitled "Entrepreneurship and the role of entrepreneurs in society: the case of IDEAS Institute as a university pioneer".

She is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Business Management "Juan José Renau Piqueras" at the University of Valencia and has previously worked at the Universitat Politècnica de València (12 years) and at the European University of Valencia (2 years). She collaborates with other European universities and business schools and participates as a trainer in different European entrepreneurship programmes.

Professionally, academically and as a researcher, all her work focuses on entrepreneurship from different approaches. She has been involved in European project management in this field since 2001.

Lola is Vice-Dean of Entrepreneurship and Relations with Companies at the Faculty of Economics and the academic head of UVemprén, the entrepreneurship support area of the UV.

She is a member of AEDEM European Academy of Management and Business Economics (https://redaedem.org)where she participates as responsible for the Business Organization track in the National Conferences.
