Jordi Giner Monfort holds a degree in Sociology and a PhD in Social Sciences. He has participated in various research projects and contracts, with more than 60 publications, including articles, book chapters and monographs. He has been a visiting researcher at Columbia University (New York, USA), the Institute for Research into Superdiversity (Birmingham, UK) and the School of Social Policy (Birmingham, UK). His main line of research focuses on the migrations of the British nationals, with special attention to return movements towards the United Kingdom. In recent years he has started a new line of research on sociology and comics focused on the empirical research during the first half of the 20th century.
