Biography

B.Sc. in Mathematics (2013) and in Computer Science (2014) from the Universidade Federal de Juiz de Fora (UFJF), in Juiz de Fora - MG, Brazil. In addition, M.Sc. in Mathematics (2016) from the Instituto de Matemática of the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), in Rio de Janeiro - RJ, Brazil. These studies led him to obtain a doctorate (2020) at the Facultat de Matemàtiques i Informàtica of the Universitat de Barcelona (UB), under the supervision of Àngel Jorba, with the thesis entitled "On the Dynamics around the Collinear Points in the Sun-Jupiter System". Currently (since October 2024) he works as an Assistant (Tenure-Track) Professor (Profesor Ayudante Doctor, in Spanish) in the Departament de Matemàtiques of the Universitat de València (UV). Likewise, he has extensive teaching experience at the university level: he worked as an instructor at both UFJF (Oct 2013 - Feb 2014) and UFRJ (Mar 2016 - Nov 2016), he was a teaching assistant at UB (Oct 2017 - May 2019), and director of 7 master's thesis and member of the jury of more than 60 at the Universidad Internacional de La Rioja (UNIR). (Apr 2020 - Nov 2022). At the research level, prior to joining as a Profesor Ayudante Doctor at UV, he was a postdoctoral researcher at the Faculty of Applied Mathematics (Jul 2020 - Jun 2022) of the AGH University of Science and Technology (AGHUST), in Kraków, Poland, in the Dipartimento di Ingegneria Meccanica e Aerospaziale (Feb 2023 - Jan 2024) at the Politecnico di Torino (PoliTo) and in the Dipartimento di Matematica "Giuseppe Peano" (Mar 2024 - Oct 2024) at the Università di Torino (UniTo), both in Turin, Italy. His research work covers different areas such as Celestial Mechanics, Numerical Simulation, and Dynamical Systems, with special interest in topics such as Astrodynamics, the Dynamics of the Solar System, and the numerical computation of different invariant sets such as periodic orbits, tori and invariant manifolds.
