PhD in Sciences (2001) and currently Professor in the Department of Physiology at the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry, University of Valencia. With a background in physics, his research focuses on applying optical techniques—particularly laser-based methods such as speckle interferometry and holography—to biological systems. His expertise spans physiology, biophysics, and the development of non-invasive tools for biomedical analysis. He is also engaged in artistic holography and in employing dynamic speckle techniques to evaluate biological activity.
