Biography

Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, specializing in Clinical Psychology. Diploma in Teaching and in Philosophy. Master’s Degree in Web and Social Analytics with Google accreditation.

Adjunct lecturer at the University of Valencia during 1986. Since 1987, civil servant at the University of Valencia.

From 1987 to 2004, worked as a guidance, information, and employment technician at the University of Valencia’s Information Service, acting as head of the Burjassot Campus office.

In 1992, designed and published the website for the University of Valencia’s Information Service, one of the first 15 websites in Spain. From 2004 to April 2011, worked as UV Webmaster, developing and enhancing the institutional web portal of the University of Valencia.

From May 2011 to 2024, served as Head of the Web and Marketing Unit at the University of Valencia and of the Unit Responsible for Web Accessibility and Mobile Applications (URA). Oversaw UV’s corporate web content manager, which handles over 900 corporate portals and supports more than 3,000 web editors.

Directed the development of proprietary UV applications such as Newsletter, Chatbot, Chat in Live, Wayfinding UV, TiquetingUV, appUV, OPISUV, and OCT, among many other projects and tools within the UV marketing and corporate communication ecosystem.

Rector’s Delegate for Web and Institutional Marketing Strategies in 2017. In 2018 and 2019, Rector’s Delegate for Online Communication at the University of Valencia.

Accredited tutor for external internship students at the University of Valencia, having supervised over 60,000 hours across around 20 official and proprietary degree programs.

Associate professor at the Department of Computer Science of the School of Engineering (ETSE) at the University of Valencia from 2017 to 2024 in the area of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence. Taught courses including Web Information Architecture and the Final Degree Project for the Bachelor’s Degree in Information and Documentation, as well as the subject Web and Social Data Analysis in the Master’s Degree in Web Technologies, Cloud Computing and Mobile Applications, among others from different official degrees.

Awarded the “Digital Humanism 2022” prize at the XXV University-Society Awards of the Social Council of the University of Valencia for the project “XatUV”.

Since 2025 to the present, work as Director of the new UV Marketing and Communication Service, which integrates the UV marketing area, institutional and corporate communication, the UV Scientific Culture and Innovation Unit (UCC+i), and the Audiovisual Workshop (TAU).
