I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Sciences and a Ph.D. in Economic and Business Sciences from the University of Valencia, where I have served since 2020 as a Full Professor of Marketing and Market Research at the Faculty of Economics.
I am a member of the Institute for International Economics and the INNOMARK research group (172108). My research focuses on international marketing from a business perspective, addressing topics such as distribution channels, dynamic capabilities, and sustainability. I also conduct research on performing arts marketing, consumer behavior, and value creation. Throughout my career, I have obtained four recognized research periods (“sexenios”). I am the author of several articles published in high-impact journals, with an H-index of 9 in Scopus and 14 in Google Scholar.
I have had the opportunity to carry out visiting professorships at international institutions such as the Centre of International Marketing Studies (University College Dublin), Université Paris XII Créteil, Université Sorbonne Nouvelle, University of Hertfordshire, University of Edinburgh, Bocconi University, Universidad de Ibagué (Colombia), and UNAPEC in Santo Domingo.
In the teaching field, I have six recognized five-year teaching periods (“quinquenios”) and have achieved the highest rating (200/200 points) in both evaluation periods of the DOCENTIA program. I have taught in three doctoral programs—two of them recognized for Excellence by the Spanish Ministry of Education—and participated in eight educational innovation projects.
I directed the Official Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) at the University of Valencia (2014–2016) and currently direct both the Official Master’s Degree in Economic Internationalization at the University of Valencia and the Professional Master’s Degree in Business Management at the University of Ibagué (Colombia).
In terms of university management, I have held several positions: Secretary of the Department of Business Management (1991–1999), Vice Dean for Corporate and Social Relations and for Postgraduate Studies at the Faculty of Economics (2005–2012), and Director of the Department of Marketing and Market Research (2016–2022).
Regarding knowledge transfer, I have participated in 14 publicly funded research projects—one European, six national, and seven regional—serving as principal investigator in three of them. In addition, I have collaborated in 26 research agreements, leading 14 of them with companies and institutions such as Dacsa, Ford Spain, ICEX, the Port Authority of Valencia, and the Valencia Chamber of Commerce, among others.
My work aims to connect academic rigor with business and social reality, combining teaching, research, and knowledge transfer with an international outlook and a strong commitment to innovation and value creation.
