Ana Hernández is a Full Professor of Psychometrics. She has a double affiliation with the department of Methodology, and the Research Institute for Personnel Psychology, Organizational Development, and Quality of Working Life (IDOCAL).

Her main methodological research interests are related to validity of measurement instruments, in general, and scale and item functioning, in particular. She has published about these topics in journals such as Multivariate Behavioral Research, Journal of Applied Psychology, Structural Equation Modeling, Organizational Research Methods, Annual Review of Organizational Psychology and Organizational Behavior and Psicothema, among others. She has represented Spain in the EFPA commission for the European accreditation of test users and in the EFPA Board of assessment and is coordinator of the Spanish Test Commission within the Spanish Psychological Association. She is current vice-president of the AEMCCO (Spanish Association of Methodology of Behavioral Sciences), and president of the EAM (European Association of Methodology). 

Regarding WOP-P Psychology, her main research interests are related to team climate, leadership, and underemployment. She has recently published on these topics in journals such as Journal of Applied Psychology, European Journal of Work and Organizational Psychology, Journal of Organizational and Occupational Psychology, Journal of Vocational Behavior, European Management Journal, and, and the book Underemployment: Psychological, Economic, and Social Challenges, among others. She has been member of the EAWOP (European Association of Work and Organizational Psychology) Executive committee between 2022 and 2025
