[I studied Biology (1998-2003) and obtained my PhD in Biology at the University of Valencia (UV), Spain, in 2009. After my PhD, I worked as an associate researcher for 14 years in the Department of Genetics at UV continuing with the same line of research from my PhD. Finally in 2023, I became a Doctor Assistant in the area of ​​genetics. My research is associated with the Institute of Biotechnology and Biomedicine at UV (Biotecmed). My current research interests are (a) studying the mode of action of Bacillus thuringiensis (Bt) proteins, (b) studying the response mechanism of different hosts after challenge with Bt proteins, (c) and understanding the biochemical and genetic basis of resistance of agricultural insect pests to Bt proteins.Biography, english version]
