Biography

She holds a degree in Psychology and a PhD from the University of Valencia (Spain) and is an expert in the social psychology of physical activity and sports.
She is a professor in the Department of Social Psychology at the University of Valencia (Spain) and a member of the Advanced Research Group in Psychology of Physical Activity, Sport, and Exercise (GIAPAFED) at the University of Valencia.
She has published more than 150 scientific articles and numerous books and book chapters, notably the book co-authored with Dr. Octavio Álvarez, entitled "Social Psychology of Physical Activity, Sport, and Exercise" (McGraw Hill Publishing).
Her main research interest focuses on the study of the psychosocial determinants of healthy lifestyles, the promotion of well-being, and the psychosocial processes related to the practice of physical and sports activities in academic and sports contexts.
