Biography
She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Audiovisual Communication (2008) and a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering (2015) from the University of Valencia. She completed her education with a Master’s Degree in Service Engineering and Web Applications (2016) at the University of Valencia. In 2016, she was awarded a Predoctoral Contract for the Training of University Teaching Staff (FPU) by the Spanish Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport, and in 2022 she obtained her PhD with the highest distinction (cum laude) for her dissertation entitled “Contributions to the Annotation Process in Augmented Reality”.
Since 2015, she has been working at the Institute of Robotics and Information and Communication Technologies (IRTIC) of the University of Valencia as a researcher within the ARTEC group. This multidisciplinary team has been dedicated, since its foundation in 1992, to interactive 3D graphics, immersive technologies, and civil simulation. Her main research areas include augmented and virtual reality, real-time localization systems, shared collaborative environments, multimedia applications, and multimodal interaction systems.
She has been a lecturer in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Valencia since 2018 and in the Master’s Degree in Educational Technology and Digital Competences at Universidad Europea since 2022.
