Irene Zaragozá Álvarez is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Valencia. She holds a PhD in Computer Science from the Polytechnic University of Valencia and focuses her work on developing technologies applied to Clinical and Health Psychology, with special attention to children and older adults. She has led the design of eHealth applications and serious games based on virtual reality, augmented reality, artificial intelligence, and mobile devices, accumulating several intellectual property registrations. Her notable developments include the apps Pain Monitor (awarded Best Health App) and CUIDA-TE, both implemented in clinical settings, as well as the UJI Online Transdiagnostic Protocol, currently in use under a licensing agreement with the Catalan healthcare system. She is co-author of more than 30 scientific publications in international journals. Her career combines research, technological innovation, and knowledge transfer with social and healthcare impact.
