BRIEF SUMMARY
Jordi Monferrer-Marín is a PhD student in the Department of Physical and Sports Education at the Universitat de València (UV). He holds a degree in Physical Activity and Sport Sciences and BOTH MSc in Physiology, and Research and Intervention in Physical Activity and Sport Sciences.
RESEARCH
Currently, he enjoys a pre-doctoral contract from the Conselleria de Educación, Universidades y Empleo - Generalitat Valenciana, developing a PhD in Physical Activity and Health in the Physical Performance in Sport research group (UIRFIDE - GIUV2013-140). Her main line of work is metabolic flexibility in ageing and the impact of exercise on this capacity.
He has 8 publications in JCR journals (50% in Q1), as well as other publications, with a total of 47 citations and an h-index of 4. He has previously held a post as a pre-doctoral researcher (Gesmed collaboration agreement, COLEF, UVEG CPI-22-738 / REF 2022-12543), as well as a research collaboration grant from the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training (21CO1/007096).
