Joan A. Romero Crespo holds a degree in Sociology from the Universitat de València and a Master's in Models and Research Areas in Social Sciences from the University of the Basque Country. He completed the Doctoral Programme in Social Sciences as a recipient of a University Teacher Training (FPU) grant funded by the Spanish Ministry of Universities, and has submitted his doctoral thesis, supervised by Professor Carles Xavier Simó Noguera, on social vulnerability in the Valencian Community through the design of a system of indicators. He is currently a member of Social·Lab, the social sciences laboratory of the Universitat de València. He has taught the courses Demographic Analysis and Applied Computing for Sociological Research.
