Graduated in Pedagogy from the University of Valencia (2019) and completed the Master’s Degree in Secondary Education Teaching, specialising in Educational Guidance (2020). PhD in Education from the University of Valencia (2026).
He has developed his academic and professional career in the field of research and university teaching, linked to the University of Valencia, where he was a Research Fellow in 2019 at the Department of Methods of Educational Research and Diagnosis and has worked as a substitute lecturer at different stages. He has also participated in several research projects affiliated with the Department of Didactics and School Organization.
His doctoral thesis, entitled Vocational Education and Training and Migration: Challenges and Opportunities for Inclusion, focuses on the analysis of Vocational Education and Training (VET) as a space for inclusion for students with a migrant background.
In 2023, he carried out an international research stay at the German Research Centre for Comparative Research on Education and Vocational Training (GREAT) at the University of Cologne (Germany), strengthening the international dimension of his research.
He is currently a member of the research team of the European project VETprep – VET Participation, Retention, and Educational Policies in the Wake of COVID-19 (Horizon Europe, Grant Agreement ID: 101177858), coordinated by the University of Southern Denmark, where he is employed in the field of Social Work and Social Services, contributing to the comparative analysis of participation, retention, and educational policies in VET in the post-pandemic European context.
He is a member of the research group Culture, Diversity and Development (CUDIDE), and a collaborator in the group Transitions between Education and Employment in Contexts of Social Vulnerability (TRANSICIONS). He is also part of international networks such as EERN-VETNET and VET&Culture Network, and participates in the Diversity and Migration Lab by FORTHEM.
His research interests lie in the field of education and Vocational Education and Training (VET), with a particular focus on migration and educational equity in diverse contexts.
