Biography

Marie Krečmarová obtained her Ph. D degree in 2018 at the Czech Technical University in Prague (CVUT), Czech Republic. The doctoral thesis was focused on development of a microfluidic quantum sensor for detection of charged molecules based on nitrogen-vacancy colour defect electron transitions in diamond. She worked for 5 years at the Institute of Physics of the Czech Academy of Sciences, Prague, Czech Republic, in group of Materials for Nanosystems and Biointerfaces, on Plasma-enhanced chemical vapour deposition (PE CVD) of diamond thin films, their material, optical and electrical characterizations and microfabrication. Within the Erasmus program she worked for 1 year at the Institute for Materials Research, Photonics and Quantum Lab, Hasselt, Belgium on PE CVD and Physical vapor deposition (PVD), photolithography microfabrication, electrochemistry and confocal microscopy. Currently as a Junior postdoctoral researcher, she is working on fabrication of 2-dimensional quantum emitters for scalable on-chip quantum photonic hybrid microsystems devices within the international project “Scalable Two-Dimensional Quantum Integrated Photonics” at the Institute of Materials Science, University of Valencia, Spain.
