Biography

Ph.D. in Quaternary Archeology from the Rovira i Virgili University (Tarragona) and the Museum National d'Histoire Naturelle (Paris), his career has been directed to the study of the interaction between Neanderthal and HAM groups with the fauna of their environment, in terms of subsistence and competition for prey through zooarchaeological, taphonomic and palaeoecological analysis. The bulk of his work has been focused on the study of Mediterranean and Cantabrian archaeological sequences (El Salt, Abric del Pastor, Volcán del Faro, Cueva de Llonín), having as relevant results a Doctoral Thesis and several national and international publications.

Participant in several competitive projects and consolidated research groups (R+D+i, Explora Ciencia, Leakey Foundation, Generalitat de Catalunya).
