Biography

PhD candidate in Chemistry and researcher in training at the MINTOTA Research Group, Department of Analytical Chemistry, University of Valencia (UV). Degree in Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Technologies obtained at the “G. d’Annunzio” University of Chieti–Pescara (Italy).

Academic background includes two Erasmus mobility programs at Comenius University of Bratislava and at the University of Valencia, where the final thesis entitled “Determination of Methotrexate for its Study in Magnetic Nanoparticles as a Drug Delivery System” was developed.

Professional experience includes quality control activities in the food processing industry and work as a pharmacist, with involvement in first-level diagnostic procedures such as electrocardiograms (ECG), ambulatory blood pressure monitoring (ABPM), Holter cardiac monitoring, and salivary diagnostic tests (including COVID-19 testing).

Teaching activities carried out during the PhD include classes in Analytical Chemistry II within the Chemistry degree program and in Laboratory of Analysis and Control of Medicines and Cosmetic Products within the Pharmacy degree.

 

Current research interests focus on the development and characterization of plastic materials, as well as on sensors and analytical methods for the determination of gluten metabolites in biological matrices.

Subjects taught and teaching methods
