Paula Martínez Vega holds a BA in English Studies (2022) and an MA in Creative and Humanistic Translation (2023) at the Universitat de València. She is currently a PhD candidate n the Language, Literatures, Cultures, and its Applications Doctoral program, with a thesis surpervised by Dr. Mayron Estefan Cantillo Lucuara. Since 2025, she has held a pre-doctoral contract funded by the Conselleria de Educación, Cultura, Universidades y Empleo and the European Social Fund (CIACIF/2024/288) and is a member of the research group British and American Transatlantic Women Writers - BATWoW. Her research interests focus on the analysis of biofictional productions and their relationship with sensationalist and morbid trends.
