Abraham Menéndez holds degrees in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering (specializing in Telematics), and a Master’s Degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of Valencia.

Since 2013, he has been a member of the 'Diseño de Sistemas Digitales y Comunicaciones (DSDC)' research group, participating in the research and development of autonomous intelligent embedded systems based on microprocessors, SoCs, FPGAs, RTOS, and IoT wireless sensor networks.

He is currently working as a researcher at Instituto de Física Corpuscular (IFIC), focusing on control systems for particle accelerators and actively collaborating in the design and evaluation of systems for medical hadrontherapy treatments.

Since 2019, he has also carried out teaching duties as an Associate Professor in the Department of Electronic Engineering at the University of Valencia.
