Her research experience focuses on the neuroimaging, neurophysiological, and neurohormonal correlations of human behavior, both cognitive and emotional, as well as the neurobiology of diseases affecting the CNS. Within her clinical and research experience, she has worked with neurological disorders (Alzheimer's disease, multiple sclerosis) and psychiatric disorders (schizophrenia, autism). She belongs to the CB/07/09/0006 group of CIBERSAM-Mental Health and is an R2 at the INCLIVA Clinical Research Institute. In terms of research quality, she has obtained the maximum number of productivity complements (“sexenios”) from the Spanish CNEAI (National Commission for the Evaluation of Research Activity), based on her professional career. She has also participated in various R-D-I projects awarded in national and regional competitive calls. In 2013, she received the "Pro Prize Academy: Exemplary Group in Science and Academic Life" award as a member of the research group led by Dr. Luís Martí Bonmatí, which is awarded annually by the "European Magnetic Resonance Forum" in recognition of the efforts, contributions, and scientific achievements of neuroimaging research groups. She currently co-directs the project "Development of Ultra-High-Resolution Multimodal Brain MRI Image Analysis Software for Application in Clinical Settings," funded by the Ministry of Science and Innovation and the State Research Agency (PID2023-152127OB-I00) in collaboration with Dr. José Manjón, from the Polytechnic University of Valencia.
