MIROSLAV TRAYCHOV KOTSEV
Biography

Miroslav Kotsev holds a degree in Spanish Studies from the University of Sofia St. Clement of Orid (2013), Sofia, Bulgaria with a specialization in teaching Spanish as a foreign language and obtaining pedagogical aptitude certificate and professional qualification of teacher of Spanish as a foreign language. He also holds a Master's degree in Advanced Hispanic Studies: applications and research, applied academic itinerary of literature (2014) and Master's degree in Teacher Training for Secondary Education (2018): specialization in teaching English as a foreign language from the University of Valencia.

 

Specialised in language teaching, with extensive experience in the private sector as an English teacher in language schools, teaching the subject of English in professional training courses of healthcare education at the Instituto Superior de Formación Profesional Biosanitaria Claudio Galeno and as a part-time lecturer (since 2020) at the Department of Applied Linguistics at the Polytechnic University of Valencia teaching official syllabus subjects of English for specific purposes and technical English. He has also worked as an English teacher at the Language Centre of the UPV. He currently works as a teacher of English and Spanish at the Language Centre of the University of Valencia and as a part-time lecturer at the Polytechnic University of Valencia. 

 

As a teacher of English as a foreign language, he has extensive experience teaching classes at all levels of CEFR, preparation for official exams of Cambridge ESOL, Trinity, EOI, Certacles (PACLE), English for specific purposes, technical English. As a teacher of Spanish as a foreign language he has taught from A1 to C1 CEFR levels, intensive courses for incoming Erasmus students at the UPV, Spanish literature classes.
