Miguel Morata Dolz holds a degree in Physics, a Master's degree and a PhD in Remote Sensing from the University of Valencia. He is currently a researcher in remote sensing applied to vegetation through hyperspectral images. He is a member of the Laboratory of Earth Observation (LEO) and the Image Processing Laboratory (IPL). He works as a research support technician on the ERC FLEXINEL project (https://leoipl.uv.es/flexinel/), is one of the developers of ARTMO (https://artmotoolbox.com/) and is involved in projects related to the European Space Agency's (ESA) Copernicus Hyperspectral Imaging Mission for the Environment (CHIME).
