Elena Moltó Hernández. Professor of the Department of French and Italian Philology at the Universitat de València. With a medievalist background and for a long time focused on French and Occitan literature of the 11th-13th centuries: Tristan and Iseo, the troubadour lyric and the courtly novel, etc.. In a second life, her interest is focused on ICT applied to the learning of French, exploring especially what students can do with them in the framework of active pedagogies. A dynamic that accelerates sharply with the pandemic. Hence the need for adaptation to virtual environments, coordination with teaching staff from other universities and the implementation of language tandem teaching projects, for example. She is currently focused on the exploration of artificial intelligence to improve the learning of French at university, in particular on how these tools can be put at the service of students as imagination and research advisors, without losing sight of the exercise of critical thinking about the behavior of AI in order to acquire higher order cognitive and technological skills.
