Guillem Montalbán Faet holds a degree in Telematics Engineering (GIT) from the University of Valencia and a Master’s degree in TWCAM, also completed at the University of Valencia. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) at the same institution.
His research focuses on the application of advanced digital technologies for data acquisition, processing, and analysis, with particular interest in unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) remote sensing, multispectral imaging, photogrammetry, LiDAR, and artificial intelligence. His experience also includes the development of IoT systems, environmental monitoring, sensor data processing, edge/cloud computing, and digital twins.
His research explores the integration of these technologies across different application domains, including precision agriculture, environmental monitoring, mapping and geospatial analysis, as well as cultural heritage documentation and analysis. His current interests are particularly focused on combining remote sensing, sensors, artificial intelligence, and data analytics to develop automated monitoring and characterization methodologies.
