I am Jorge Mortes Alcaraz, a mathematician and Ph.D. in Operations Research from IMT Atlantique and HEC Montréal. My research focuses on developing data-driven optimization algorithms to improve decision-making in intelligent transportation systems, as well as on diversity and equity optimization problems. This work has led to publications in leading scientific journals and book chapters, as well as presentations at national and international conferences.
I have experience in university teaching in mathematics, programming, and optimization, as well as in applied research in collaboration with companies. In this context, I have designed mathematical models, heuristic algorithms, and web applications aimed at solving logistics and planning challenges.
My profile is centered on mathematical modeling, programming (Python, Java, C++), and data analysis, with a practical focus on innovation in transportation, logistics, and process management.
