He is a professor in the Area of Arab and Islamic Studies, both with a broad profile in teaching and research. He has a specialized training in Arab and Islamic Studies. His training enables him to investigate in different research camps in the Area of Arab and Islamic Studies. In particular, on issues related to Islamic thought, science and Arab-Islamic cultural traditions, medieval Arab-Islamic history, historiography, medieval and contemporary Arab literature, Islamic law and institutions, and the Islamic economic system.

His work experience consists of exercising the activity of intercultural mediator, and professor of literature and Arabic language.
