A graduate in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Valencia, after working in Banking and Auditing, he joined the University of Valencia in 1994 as a professor in the Department of Applied Economics and later in the Department of Accounting. He has taught in many degrees of the Faculties of Economics and Social Sciences and the Higher Technical School of Engineering, as well as in master's or postgraduate degrees, teaching subjects related to business statistics, cost accounting and especially financial accounting, auditing and financial analysis.

His research work has dealt with the analysis of the financial structure of companies and the analysis and prediction of business failure, through the use of machine learning algorithms and comparative qualitative analysis, being the author of multiple scientific articles and contributions to international conferences, as well as co-author of a dozen editions of the audit manual.

Currently, in the Faculty of Economics he is Coordinator of the first year of Business Administration, Coordinator of the Entreiguals programme, member of the Academic Committee of the degree, of the Equality and Extraordinary Awards Commissions, and in the School of Engineering he is a member of its three Academic Committees of degrees. He is also Coordinator of undergraduate and master's degree subjects.
