Núria Molines Galarza is a lecturer in English Studies in the Department of English and German Studies at the Universitat de València. She teaches instrumental language, language for specific purposes, translation, and courses in the master's program in Creative Writing. She received her PhD in Applied Languages, Literature, and Translation in 2022 with a thesis entitled “No dejar caer el cuerpo: Derrida y la traducción como forma del acontecimiento”, which was awarded international mention and cum laude. From 2017 to 2024, she was an adjunct lecturer in the Department of Translation and Communication at the Universitat Jaume I, where she taught literary translation, general translation, language for translators, and linguistics. She is also a guest lecturer in the Master's program in Audiovisual Translation at the European University of Valencia. She holds a BA in Translation and Intercultural Mediation (UEV), an MA in Multidisciplinary Conference Interpreting, and an MA in Audiovisual Translation (UAB).

Her research interests focus on the intersections of translation, literature, and philosophy within a post-structuralist framework. She has published more than 20 scientific articles, book chapters, and reviews in specialized journals and is the author of the monograph Derrida y la traducción: nuevas perspectivas para la traductología deconstructiva (Peter Lang, 2025). Additionally, she has authored several critical editions and annotated translations of authors such as Stefan Zweig, Romain Rolland, Jane Austen, Kate Millett, and Olympe de Gouges. She has translated over 70 literary works by writers such as Joyce Carol Oates, Mark Fisher, Fredric Jameson, Andre Aciman, Ursula K. Le Guin, Catherine Lacey, Gabrielle Zevin, and the Grimm brothers. In 2023, she was awarded the Ángel Crespo Translation Prize for her Spanish version of Unica Zürn's El hombre del jazmín y otros textos (Wunderkammer, 2022), and in 2024, she was a finalist for the Esther Benítez Translation Prize.

Currently, she is the editor of the academic journal Asparkía. Investigació feminista and has served as co-principal investigator on several educational innovation projects focusing on literary training for translation students. She is a member of the research project “The Effects of Post-Editing on Creativity in Literary Translation’” funded by the Ministry of Science, Innovation, and Universities and directed by Dr. Josep Marco Borillo (COVALT).

In the field of knowledge transference, she represents Spain as a delegate in the European Council of Associations for Literary Translation (CEATL) and is a full member of ACEtt. She collaborates with media outlets such as El Trujamán (Instituto Cervantes) and Vasos Comunicantes. She participates in literary and translation activities in bookstores and cultural institutions and has provided training courses for professional associations such as ASETRAD, organizations like the Deutscher Übersetzerfonds at the Literarisches Colloquium in Berlin or instititutions such as the Spanish Ministry of Culture and Sports.

She has conducted research and knowledge transfer stays at the University of Cambridge, the International College of Translators (ATLAS-Arles), and the Austrian Literature Foundation (OGfL).
