Patricia López-García is a lecturer in the Department of French Philology at the University of Valencia, a position she has held since November 2022. Throughout her career, she has held various positions in academic institutions, combining her teaching work with her research career.
In the teaching field, she has taught French at several universities, including the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (2005-2022), the EUROAULA university school attached to the Universitat de Girona (2013-2022) and the Universitat Pompeu Fabra (2021-2022). She taught on a master's degree in language planning at the University of Mons in Belgium (2011-2020) and was coordinator of the clinical linguistics module at Umanresa - Fundació Universitària del Bages (FUB) in Catalonia (2017-2020).

 She held the position of project manager for the ELAN Afrique educational programme at the Organisation Internationale de la Francophonie (2011-2013) in Paris.
She holds a PhD in French and Romance Philology from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, where she also specialised in speech and hearing disorders. She also holds a Master's degree in Intellectual Capital Management from ESADE Business School.
In the field of research, she has published extensively on topics such as multilingualism. His most recent work includes the article ‘Incidence de la dominance linguistique sur l'espace de perception des sujets trilingues’ in the journal Synergies Espagne. He has also explored phonic perception, as evidenced in his chapter ‘La percepció verbotonal’ in Nous Horitzons del mètode verbotonal: Millorar la pronúncia holísticament de l'Editorial Graó, and has addressed the transversal competences required in the labour market in his chapter ‘Las competencias transversales en el mercado de la traducción’ in Perfiles estratégicos de traductores e intérpretes de la Editorial Comares.

In the field of educational innovation, she participates in the PMgest teaching innovation project at the University of Valencia and Foncat at the University of Barcelona.
