Miguel Pardo Peña graduated with a degree in Primary School Teaching from the University of València in 2018, specialising in foreign-language teaching (English). That same year, he received the Diploma de Especialización en Metodología y Didáctica del Español como Lengua Extranjera. In 2019, he completed the Master’s Programme in Research in Specific Didactics at the University of València, in which he wrote his final research project on Spanish-language teaching in Norwegian secondary schools.

During his undergraduate and postgraduate studies, he received research and collaboration scholarships and participated in the organisation of various academic conferences relating to teaching language and literature.

From 2019 onwards, he has taught English as a foreign language in private language schools to children, teenagers and adults. In the 2020/2021 academic year, he received a scholarship from the Ministry of Education to teach Spanish in a secondary school in Dublin City (Ireland).

After returning to València, Miguel started working at the University of València’s Centre d’Idiomes as part of the UV’s programme to support refugees from Ukraine in April 2022. He now teaches Spanish as a foreign language full-time at the centre.
