Assistant Professor at the Universitat de València and Associate Lecturer at the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC). He holds a PhD in Sociology and has a background in Cultural Management, Sociology and Political Science, having graduated from the University of Valencia. He has previously worked as a Lecturer in Sociology at the Universitat d'Alacant, the Universitat de València and Universitat Jaume I. He has also appeared as an expert contributor on À Punt television programmes La clau per a viure and Panorama.

He is co-author of the book Selva Maia, published by Caliu Editorials, and co-editor of Cultura festiva, dominació política i conflicte social, published by Publicacions de la Universitat de València (PUV). His research on the sociology of culture and cultural policy has been published in international academic journals including International Journal of Media and Cultural Politics, City, Journal of Urban Affairs and Journal of Bisexuality. He has also served as a peer reviewer for the Journal of Bisexuality.

He has participated in international culture-related research projects, including MESOC, and has been a member of the Econcult Research Unit, where he contributed to projects such as the evaluation of Valencia’s designation as World Design Capital. In the private sector, he has worked with research organisations such as Culturalink and educational institutions such as PROTED. Within the public and cultural sectors, he has collaborated with Les Arts, managing productions including Cal·líope and Babies Only, and has also worked with the ACICOM association.

He was awarded First Prize in MOTIVEM 2023 and an UVemprén award for the Locarts project. He also received an award from the UPV Chair in Smart Tourism for his Master’s dissertation, which was recognised as the best dissertation of the Master’s Degree in Cultural Management. His academic achievements also led to him receiving the Extraordinary Master’s Degree Award in Cultural Management for the 2023 graduating class.
