Paula García Balaguer graduated in Optics and Optometry from the University of Valencia (2017–2021) and completed the Master’s Degree in Advanced Optometry and Vision Sciences at the same institution (2021–2022). She is currently a PhD researcher in training (PIF) thanks to an FPU22 grant, which allows her to combine the development of her doctoral thesis—focused on the field of visual psychophysics—with teaching activities. Her research is conducted within the Applied Psychophysics Research Group of the Department of Optics, Optometry and Vision Sciences, while her teaching includes courses in the Optics and Optometry degree programme, covering topics ranging from clinical optometry to visual perception, colour vision, and psychophysics.
