I hold a Bachelor’s degree (1995) and a PhD in Physics (2002). I work as an Associate Professor of Earth Physics at the University of Valencia. As a lecturer, I teach Physics at the Faculty of Pharmacy. As a researcher, I have focused on modeling dynamical systems from different perspectives:
I worked at the Faculty of Physics modeling the optical properties of atmospheric aerosols using active (radiometers) and passive (lidar) instrumentation. The objective was to study the optical properties of aerosols and determine the origin of their particle size probability distribution.
I worked at the CNRS (Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique, Paris) for the European Space Agency on the FLEX mission. The objective was to develop the first model of vegetation fluorescence emission taking into account plant physiology.
I worked for the Ministry of Defence in the Parachute Sapper Squadron (Murcia), applying statistical tools for situation analysis, pattern detection, and protocol development.
I am currently modeling tumor growth, seeking to identify self-organization patterns through agent-based supercomputing. The objective is to understand how malignant cells spread, mutate, and develop drug tolerance.
