José Manuel Piqueras Ruiz holds a degree in Automation and Industrial Electronics Engineering from the Universitat Politècnica de València and a Technical Industrial Engineering degree in Industrial Electronics from the University of Jaén. He completed his Final Degree Project at the University of Ulm (Germany), in the area of Measurement, Control and Microtechnology.
Since 2002, he has been working as a Vocational Education and Training teacher for the Generalitat Valenciana, teaching modules within the Electricity and Electronics field and serving as Head of the Electricity‑Electronics Department. From 2019 to 2021, he worked as a visiting teacher at San Antonio ISD (Texas), within the CTE Advanced Manufacturing program.
Since 2022, he has also been a part‑time lecturer at the University of Valencia, teaching in areas such as electrical machines, industrial automation, graphical expression, and electronics.
Professionally, he has worked as an engineer in automation and machine vision, developing automatic inspection systems, robotic guidance solutions and industrial quality control, as well as electrical installation projects. His areas of interest include automation, electrical systems, machine vision, and educational innovation in technological teaching.
