Elia Puertas Ribés has a doctorate from the Universitat Jaume I (Castellón, Spain), where she is part of the research project «Structural, social and idiolectal dimensions of linguistic change: new contributions from historical sociolinguistics to the study of Spanish». In addition, she coordinates the work team of the University of Valencia that collaborates with the Royal Spanish Academy for the preparation of the Corpus of 21st Century Spanish (CORPES XXI).
Her research area focuses on the study of corpora, computational linguistics and language teaching.
