Raúl Salinas-Monteagudo is a Computer Engineer from the Universitat Politècnica de València and holds a research master’s degree in replicated databases. His professional career has focused on Linux systems, software development, continuous integration, databases, automation, and distributed architectures.

Before joining the Universitat de València, he worked in national and international technology environments related to the automotive industry, embedded systems, backend services, DevOps, Kubernetes, artificial vision, and system reliability. He has also been a part-time associate professor in the Department of Computer Systems and Computation at the Universitat Politècnica de València, teaching subjects related to industrial computing, operating systems, Linux, industrial communications, and microcontroller programming.

He currently works as an A1 analyst at the Universitat de València in the field of database administration. His professional interests include security, service availability, operational traceability, automation, and the improvement of technical processes in complex infrastructures.

He has contributed to research publications on distributed databases and replication, and is a co-inventor of a patent related to driver assistance systems. Beyond his strictly professional activity, he maintains a special interest in languages, electronics, and microcontrollers.
