Professor in the area of Financial Economics and Accounting in the Department of Financial and Actuarial Economics of the University of Valencia. Graduate in Economics and Business Sciences (Business branch) from the University of Valencia, with Extraordinary Bachelor's Award. Doctor in Financial Economics from the University of Valencia, with an Extraordinary Doctorate Award.

My research activity has focused in recent years on the field of financial economics, with special attention to the interrelationships between financial markets and energy markets. He has published more than 30 articles in scientific journals with impact factor in the fields of finance and economics, among which are Energy Economics, Energy Policy, The Energy Journal, International Review of Financial Analysis, International Review of Economics & Finance, Economic Modeling, Research in International Business and Finance, Finance Research Letters, Tourism Management, North American Journal of Economics and Finance and Pacific-Basin Finance Journal.

I have been principal researcher of competitive projects financed by the Spanish Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities and by the Generalitat Valenciana. 

In the teaching field, I have a solid track record teaching Bachelor's and Master's courses specialized in Financial Mathematics, Operations and Fixed Income Markets, as well as in Banking Analysis and Management at the University of Valencia. Likewise, I taught the subject Fixed Income in 2019 during an academic stay at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville (SIUE) in the United States. I have supervised two doctoral theses so far, as well as numerous Master's Thesis, both in the Master in Actuarial and Financial Sciences of theUniversity of Valencia as in the Interuniversity Master in Banking and Quantitative Finance. Currently, I am part of the Academic Coordination Commission of the Master's Degree in Actuarial and Financial Sciences of the University of Valencia.
