Rafael Martí is a Professor of Statistics and Operations Research at the University of Valencia, Spain. He earned his Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of Valencia in 1994. His research focuses extensively on metaheuristics for complex optimization problems, and he collaborates regularly with leading scholars in Operations Research worldwide. Prof. Martí is a senior research associate at two private companies, Entanglement Inc. (USA) and OGA (Spain).
