Biography

PhD in Physiotherapy from the University of Valencia, where she currently works as a permanent lecturer in the Faculty of Physiotherapy. Since 2011, she has been involved in university teaching, mainly in the Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Physiotherapy, with a focus on respiratory physiotherapy, clinical practice, neuropathologies, and supervising final projects.

She conducts her research as a member of the group "Physiotherapy in Movement. Multispecialty Research Group" (PTinMotion), registered in the Research Structures Registry of the University of Valencia (GIUV2018-430). Her research focuses on two main lines: the evaluation and treatment of vulnerable populations, with particular attention to improving the quality of life of patients with chronic pain and sequelae of neurological or respiratory conditions; and the development of ethical competence in physiotherapy students, emphasizing its integration as a fundamental pillar for clinical practice and decision-making in healthcare settings.

In the educational field, she holds specialised training through a postgraduate qualification and a Master's degree in Neuroeducation from the University of Barcelona, aimed at deepening the understanding of neurobiological learning processes and their application in health sciences education. Her teaching work is further enhanced by her participation in the Clinical Simulation Committee in Physiotherapy, promoting innovative methodologies in the training of future physiotherapists. She is also co-founder of the ACAVALL Foundation, dedicated to improving the quality of life of people with functional diversity through animal-assisted interventions, and collaborates as a lecturer in various postgraduate programmes on neurorehabilitation and assisted therapies.
