Biography
Dr. R Salvador-Clavell is a Junior Researcher at the Department of Microbiology and Ecology of the Universitat de València (UV). He studied the Degree in Industrial Design Engineering and the Masters in Biomedical Engineering, and Bioinformatics and Biostatistics, as well as the PhD in Medicine (specialization in Histopathology and Tissue Engineering). She is currently doing her Postdoc in the group of Pathogens in Aquaculture: Fish and Zoonotic Pathogens of Dr. Carmen Amaro in the Department of Microbiology and Ecology of the Universitat de València.
RESEARCH/ His PhD Thesis work focused on the regeneration of articular cartilage from the application of electromagnetic and mechanical fields on stem cells. His main function as a Postdoc in the PAFZP group is the study of different virulence mechanisms in V. vulnificus. He has published 5 scientific articles in JCR (1 Q1), and has been reviewer of 2 scientific articles in JCR.
TRAINING AND EVALUATION/ He has tutored 2 undergraduate final projects and 2 master's degree final projects.
OTHER RELEVANT ACTIONS/ He has been part of the organizing committee of the VI Meeting of the Teaching and Dissemination Group in Microbiology of the Spanish Society of Microbiology, held in July 2024. He is also co-author of the outreach activity "The Bacterial Pokédex".
