Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Master's Degree in Economic Policy and Public Economics (with honours in both degrees), PhD in Social Sciences from the Universitat de València and professional certificate in Data Science from Harvard University. He is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Applied Economics at the Universitat de València, within the Economic Policy teaching unit. He is part of the research unit on cultural economics Econcult. His main line of research focuses on the impact of cultural and creative industries on regional well-being, for which he has been awarded the 2024 SGAE Foundation Research Award for the best doctoral thesis in the field of culture, and was also a finalist for the 2024 ENCATC Research Award, from the European Network for Cultural Policy and Management. He has participated and continues to participate actively in various European and smaller-scale projects obtained through competitive calls for proposals, as well as in nine research and transfer contracts, one of them as principal investigator.

In addition to his work as a researcher and lecturer at the university, he has worked as a consultant in cultural economics at the specialist consultancy Culturalink, S.L. –with which he continues to collaborate regularly– and as a quantitative analyst at the European Commission's Joint Research Centre in Ispra (Italy), in the I.1 unit (Monitoring, Indicators & Impact Evaluation).

In the field of teaching, he has lectured on various courses in the field of applied economics and economic policy in the degrees of Social Work, Sociology, Business Administration and Management, the double degree in Sociology and Political Science and Public Administration, and the Master's Degree in Secondary Education, acting as coordinator of the Economics specialisation in the latter.
