Biography

Holding a Degree with Extraordinary Award and a PhD in History of Art from the Universitat de València, his research focuses on the history of architecture, urban development, and cultural heritage management. He currently serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of History of Art at the Universitat de València and as a Cultural Heritage Technician at the General Foundation of this institution (FGUV), where he conducts research, cataloging, and dissemination of the university's heritage.

In the field of research, he was awarded the 2011 Senyera Prize for Historical Research by the Valencia City Council for his work on postwar architecture and urban development, which led to the publication of the book Arquitectura y espacio urbano en Valencia, 1939-1957 (2012). He has authored several books and articles on the history of Valencian architecture and urbanism during the first six decades of the 20th century. Additionally, he has curated exhibitions organized by the Valencia City Council focusing on the architectural and urban evolution of the city, notably Javier Goerlich Lleó: Arquitectura y urbanismo en la ciudad de Valencia (1914-1962) in 2018, and La València de Francisco Mora. Arquitecto y urbanista, 1875-1961 in 2025. His dissemination work on the figure of Goerlich was recognized with the 2021 COACV Architecture Award.
