Víctor Sabaté Vidal (Maials, Lleida, 1992) holds a degree in History from the Universitat de Lleida and a master’s degree and PhD in Classical Philology from the Universitat de Barcelona. His main research areas are the ancient languages of the Mediterranean and epigraphy, particularly the study of lead tablets. He is editor of the Iberian inscriptions from Catalonia for the Hesperia Palaeohispanic Languages Database and a contributor to L’Année épigraphique, as well as a member of the Grup de Recerca en Arqueologia de la Mediterrània at the Universitat de València and of the Grup de Recerca Consolidat LITTERA at the Universitat de Barcelona. He has participated in national and international projects and has carried out research stays in Brussels, Cambridge, Geneva, Madrid, Oxford, Rome, and Verona.
