Sonia Erlei Jin graduated with a first-class degree in Modern Languages and Translation from the University of Nottingham in 2018. In that same year, she obtained her TEFL and CELTA qualifications, and later completed a Master's in Training for Teachers of Spanish as a Foreign Language at the University of Barcelona (2021).

She has worked as an English teacher at Kazan Federal University and as a Spanish teacher at International House. She currently works at the UV Language Center and is an examiner for the Diploma of Spanish as a Foreign Language (DELE), as well as the PACLE CertACLES accreditation tests at the University of Valencia. 

As a Spanish teacher, she has experience teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language at all levels of the CEFR, as well as specific courses in business, grammar, pronunciation, culture and preparation for the DELE diploma. As an English teacher, she has taught general courses, preparation courses for certification tests (PACLE CertAcles, Cambridge, TOEFL) and courses designed for professionals interested in the field of international trade, in collaboration with the Valencian Institute of Business Competitiveness (IVACE).
